Damage Policy

General Policy

  • Upon receiving the returned product, the company will notify you of any damages or missing items.
  • The customer agrees to be responsible for any damages, losses, or theft of items, regardless of the cause or fault.

What is considered damage?

  • Any permanent alteration in the product's physical appearance or any change or loss in functionality is considered damage.
  • Minor wear and tear due to regular use is not considered damage.

Missing Item Policy

  1. Liability: The customer is liable for up to 90% of the retail price for any missing item, depending on the product's usage age.
  2. Return of Missing Product:
    • If the customer can return the missing product, the Rentux team will arrange for pickup.
    • The customer must pay a ₹299 shipping charge for the return.
  3. Lost Item Replacement:
    • The customer may purchase and send a replacement product of the same brand, including the invoice (and warranty card if applicable).

Damage Policy

  1. Repairable Damage:
    • The customer is responsible for covering the repair cost and a service charge as per the repair invoice.
  2. Irreparable Damage:
    • For irreparable damage, the customer is liable for up to 90% of the retail price, depending on the product's usage age.

Non-Compliance

  • If the customer fails to comply with these policies, Rentux reserves the right to take legal action.
